About Albion Rovers FC

Albion Rovers is a football club based in Monasterboice, Co. Louth. We have teams from Under 8's to Seniors including girls and ladies teams. Our teams compete in the Drogheda School Childrens League, The North East Counties League and the FastFix Dundalk Schoolboys League. Our Club Mission Statement is '...to promote soccer and provide the highest quality playing facilities for the South Louth catchment area.

Our facilities include a 60m x 30m floodlit all-weather pitch, two dressing rooms, three 11-a-side pitches, one 7/9-a-side pitch and the new heart of the club Eddie's Place. Eddie's Place is the club's coffee shop which is dedicated to the late Eddie Maher who was an underage manager with the club. Eddie sadly passed away suddenly in March 2009.
